The Story of Engine Master Australia
Engine Master Australia has proudly supported the automotive and marine industries for over 35 years, delivering quality products, expert knowledge, and dependable service to enthusiasts and professionals across the country.
1988
Our story began in 1988, when Albury Speed & Performance was established as a dedicated speed shop. From the beginning, we specialised in supplying performance parts and assembling engines for street, off-road, and marine applications.
1991
By 1991, growing demand for rebuilt engines led us to invest in our own in-house machine shop facilities. This allowed us to control quality, pricing, and after-sales service at every stage. This ultimately earned us a reputation of a trusted supplier of remanufactured engines to manufacturers and dealerships. Around this time, Ski Power Marine became part of the business, strengthening our position in the marine sector.
1993
In 1993, with our marine division firmly established, we expanded our engine range by sourcing new engines directly from the United States. While our focus was supporting marine customers, nationwide advertising soon connected us with customers in hot rod, off-road, agricultural, and general performance applications.
1999
As we continued to grow, we moved to our Drome Street premises in 1999, allowing us to expand our product range and better serve our customers.
2005
A major milestone came in 2005, when Albury Speed & Performance officially became Engine Master Australia and was appointed the Australian dealer for Pleasurecraft Marine Engines.
2010
In 2010, Engine Master Australia relocated to our current facility in Fallon Street, Albury, situated within one of the city’s modern airport industrial estates. This move gave us the space and infrastructure needed to support our expanding operations and customer base.
2023
In 2023, we launched our new website, making it easier than ever for customers around Australia to access our growing range of products and technical expertise. As our stock and knowledge base continue to expand, so does our commitment to supporting customers with their current and future builds.
2026
In 2026, Engine Master Australia continues to grow not only as a parts supplier, but as an active part of the car community. We are proud to support and attend multiple car shows locally, nationally, and internationally, always on the lookout for the latest and greatest products to bring back to the Australian market.
We’re passionate about backing local businesses and fellow family-owned companies, believing that strong communities are built by supporting one another — both in the workshop and beyond. Our complex in Fallon Street, Albury is now a 'motorsport mecca' with many automotive focused businesses including: LS Tuning & Performance, Killaboost Manifolds, Gordomotive Auto Electrical, Irvings Auto Spa and many other great businesses.
