Shipping policy

Shipping Information

Last updated: August 2026

Important delivery information

Orders valued under $300 are generally sent with authority to leave. If you require a signature or do not want your parcel left unattended, please contact us before your order is dispatched.

Where we deliver

Engine Master Australia offers delivery within Australia and to selected international destinations.

Delivery availability, carriers, timeframes and charges depend on the products ordered and the destination. Some restricted, large, heavy or bulky products are available by freight quote only.

Please contact us before ordering if an international delivery option is unavailable at checkout.

Order processing

Orders are generally dispatched within 1–5 business days after full payment has been received.

For this policy, a business day means Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays observed in New South Wales or Victoria.

Dispatch time is the time required to prepare and send your order. It does not include the carrier’s delivery time.

If an item is unavailable or your order cannot be dispatched within the expected timeframe, we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss the available options.

Delivery options

Available delivery options may include:

  • Standard delivery;

  • Express delivery; and

  • Airbag delivery for eligible orders weighing less than 10 kg.

The options available for an order will depend on the products, parcel dimensions, weight and delivery destination.

You can select your preferred delivery option online. Engine Master Australia will then select the most effective carrier and service for your order within the delivery option chosen.

Selection of an express or airbag service affects the carrier’s delivery service after dispatch. It does not shorten our stated order-processing time unless we confirm otherwise.

Estimated delivery timeframes

After dispatch, delivery within Australia generally takes 1–10 business days, depending on:

  • the delivery destination;

  • the delivery option selected;

  • the size and weight of the order;

  • whether specialised freight is required; and

  • circumstances affecting the carrier’s network.

International delivery timeframes vary by destination, carrier and customs processing requirements. An estimated timeframe may be provided with your shipping quote or tracking information.

All delivery timeframes are estimates only. Regional and remote deliveries, international deliveries, bulky freight, customs processing, public holidays and peak trading periods may require additional time.

Delivery addresses

Please provide a complete and accurate street address when placing your order.

We are generally unable to deliver to PO boxes unless prior arrangements have been made. Providing a PO box without contacting us beforehand may delay your order.

Please check your delivery details carefully before submitting your order. Contact us promptly if you need to correct an address. Once an order has been dispatched, we may be unable to change its destination, and additional carrier fees may apply.

We recommend providing a current telephone number and email address at checkout so that we or the delivery carrier can contact you if there is a question about your order or delivery.

Delivery partners

Depending on the destination and the size, weight and nature of the order, we may use:

  • Australia Post;

  • StarTrack;

  • TNT/FedEx;

  • Sendle;

  • DHL; or

  • another suitable freight provider.

Engine Master Australia will select the carrier considered most effective for the order and the delivery option chosen.

Dispatch locations and split deliveries

Most orders are dispatched from our warehouse in Albury, New South Wales.

In some cases, an item may be dispatched directly from one of our suppliers or distribution partners. Orders containing multiple items may therefore arrive in separate deliveries.

Where an order is divided into separate shipments, you may receive separate tracking information for each shipment.

Shipping charges

Shipping and handling charges are based on:

  • the delivery location;

  • whether the destination is residential, commercial, regional or remote;

  • the size and weight of the shipment;

  • the type of goods ordered; and

  • any specialised handling or freight requirements.

Additional charges may apply to remote locations or destinations outside a carrier’s standard delivery network.

If the amount calculated online does not cover a remote-area surcharge or specialised freight requirement, we will contact you before dispatch. We will explain the available options and obtain your agreement before charging any additional amount.

If you do not accept a revised shipping charge, you may cancel the affected item or order for a refund.

Restricted, large and bulky goods

Restricted, large, heavy or bulky goods are available by freight quote only. These may include:

  • engines;

  • wheels and tyres;

  • seats;

  • batteries;

  • automotive fluids, aerosols or dangerous goods; and

  • other large, heavy or restricted components.

Some restricted products cannot be delivered by air or to certain Australian or international destinations.

To request an accurate quote, please provide:

  • the item or items required;

  • the quantity;

  • the delivery suburb, state and postcode;

  • the destination country for international orders;

  • whether the address is residential or commercial; and

  • any relevant access restrictions.

Authority to leave

Orders valued under $300 are generally sent with authority to leave unless you make an alternative arrangement with us before dispatch.

For this policy, order value means the amount paid for the goods, including GST but excluding shipping charges.

When authority to leave applies, the carrier may leave the shipment in a location at the delivery address that it considers safe. Please ensure the nominated address has a suitable, secure and weather-protected place for the delivery.

Orders valued at $300 or more will not be sent with authority to leave unless you request it in writing before dispatch.

Written authority-to-leave requests are subject to carrier availability and acceptance. We may require a signature regardless of value where authority to leave is unavailable or unsuitable for the order, product or delivery location.

Receiving and inspecting your delivery

Where a signature or handover is required, please nominate an address where someone will be available to receive the delivery. A staffed business address is often preferable for large or valuable orders.

Before signing for a delivery, inspect the external packaging for visible damage where reasonably possible. If you notice damage, ask the driver to record it on the delivery receipt or proof of delivery before you sign.

After accepting the delivery, inspect the goods and check the contents against your order promptly.

Please notify us:

  • of delivery damage within 48 hours of receiving the shipment; and

  • of missing items or shortages within 7 days of receiving the shipment.

Include your order number, a description of the issue and clear photographs of the goods and packaging where applicable. Retain the goods and all original packaging while the matter is being assessed.

Prompt notification helps us investigate the issue and submit a claim to the carrier. These notification periods do not exclude or limit any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Unsuccessful delivery and additional charges

If a delivery cannot be completed, the carrier may:

  • take the parcel to a post office or freight depot for collection;

  • leave a calling card or send an electronic notification;

  • contact you to arrange another delivery;

  • charge a redelivery, redirection or storage fee; or

  • return the shipment to us.

Additional charges may apply where delivery cannot be completed because no one is available, the address is incorrect or inaccessible, the shipment is refused, or the parcel is not collected within the carrier’s required timeframe.

We will advise you of any applicable fee before arranging a service that requires further payment.

Click and collect

Click and collect is available from our Albury warehouse for eligible orders.

Please wait until we advise you that your order is ready before attending the warehouse. Processing times also apply to collection orders, and an order confirmation does not mean that the goods are ready for collection.

The person collecting the order may be asked to provide the order number and suitable identification. If another person will collect the order on your behalf, please contact us before collection.

Collection availability and instructions will be confirmed when your order is ready.

International orders

International delivery charges and availability depend on the destination and the products ordered.

International orders may be subject to customs inspections, import duties, taxes, brokerage charges or other fees imposed by the destination country. Unless we expressly confirm otherwise, these charges are not included in the product price or shipping charge and are payable by the recipient.

Customers are responsible for checking whether products can lawfully be imported into the destination country. We may be unable to ship certain automotive products, fluids, batteries, aerosols or other restricted goods internationally.

Customs processing is outside our control and may delay delivery.

Tracking

Where tracking is available, tracking details will be sent after your order has been dispatched.

Tracking information may take some time to appear in the carrier’s system. If your shipment is substantially overdue, please contact us so we can investigate with the carrier.

Delayed, lost or damaged deliveries

If your shipment has not arrived within a reasonable period after the estimated delivery timeframe, please contact us promptly.

We will assess the issue and work with the carrier to arrange an appropriate outcome. Depending on the circumstances, this may include locating the shipment, replacing an affected item, arranging a return or providing a refund where required.

Carrier insurance, compensation limits and claims processes do not exclude or restrict any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.

Questions and freight quotes

If you have questions about delivery availability, international shipping, remote-area charges or restricted, large or bulky goods, please contact us before placing your order.

Providing the product details, quantity and complete delivery location will help us prepare an accurate estimate.
