Engine Master Support

Warranty Information

Warranty support starts with Engine Master

If you believe a product purchased from Engine Master Australia is faulty, contact our team. Warranty terms, timeframes and conditions vary between brands, manufacturers and products. There is no single manufacturer warranty period that applies to our entire range.

Manufacturer warranties operate in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. You can contact Engine Master about a problem even if a manufacturer's warranty has expired.

1. Contact us before returning your product

Email sales@enginemaster.com.au or call 02 6025 5666. To help us assess the issue, please provide:

  • Your order or invoice number, or other proof of purchase.
  • The brand, part number and serial number, where applicable.
  • A description of the fault and when it occurred.
  • Relevant photographs or video.
  • Vehicle, engine, installation and application details, including any testing already performed.

Stop using or installing the product if you suspect a fault. Contact us before further dismantling or modification, which may cause additional damage or make assessment more difficult.

2. Return to Engine Master for inspection

Warranty returns are sent to Engine Master for inspection. Contact us first for return instructions and a return reference. Package the product securely and include your contact details, proof of purchase and a description of the issue. Keep your tracking details and freight receipt.

For eligible parcels, use our Australia Post returns portal. Australia Post's size, weight and transport requirements apply. If your item is large, heavy, difficult to remove or unsuitable for this service, contact us before arranging freight so we can organise appropriate assessment or return arrangements.

Original packaging is helpful but is not required to exercise consumer-guarantee rights. Suitable protective packaging is still needed for transport.

3. Assessment and timeframes

Some faults can be diagnosed at Engine Master. Others need assessment by the brand, manufacturer or authorised service centre, which may be overseas, including in the United States.

Most warranty returns are resolved within 10 business days of arriving at Engine Master. This is a usual timeframe, not a guaranteed completion date. Manufacturer assessment, overseas transport, parts availability or more complex testing may take longer. Contact our team with your return reference for an update.

Assessment timeframes do not limit your right to a remedy within a reasonable time under Australian Consumer Law.

4. Assessment outcome

If the product qualifies for a warranty remedy, we will arrange a repair, replacement or refund as appropriate to the applicable warranty and your legal rights. Where Australian Consumer Law applies, a major failure gives you the right to choose a refund or replacement. For a minor failure, we may provide a repair or another appropriate remedy; further rights apply if it is not remedied within a reasonable time.

If assessment does not identify a covered fault, we will explain the outcome and discuss next steps. Any proposed charges will be explained before proceeding, as set out in our Returns and Refunds Policy. A manufacturer's decision does not remove rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

Return freight reimbursement

Our standard return-freight reimbursement for an approved warranty claim is the actual amount paid, up to AUD $15.15. Eligible parcels can be sent using our Australia Post returns portal. If you choose another freight method, the same standard cap applies.

For items that can easily be posted or returned, you may initially need to pay return freight. Under our standard warranty process, reimbursement is made after the claim is approved. Keep your freight receipt and provide it to our team with your return reference.

The $15.15 cap does not limit reimbursement of reasonable return costs where Australian Consumer Law requires those costs to be reimbursed. For large, heavy or difficult-to-return goods, contact us to arrange suitable inspection, collection or freight. Please discuss unusually expensive or express services with us before booking.

Your consumer rights

Nothing on this page excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. Consumer-guarantee rights are separate from voluntary manufacturer warranties and may continue beyond a stated warranty period.

For change-of-mind returns, detailed return conditions and refund information, read our Returns and Refunds Policy. You can also contact Engine Master for help with a warranty enquiry.
