These mufflers are designed to do much more than simply muffle exhaust noise; they produce a deep throaty rumble that will not change--ever! Plus, Aero's aerodynamically designed chambers flow better to deliver more horsepower and torque thanks to Hooker's unique step principle. The stepped acceleration chamber increases exhaust gas velocity for maximum flow. An aerodynamic lens directs sound pressure into and out of the muffler while resonance chambers and sound absorption chambers create the sound. And, to keep Aero Chamber mufflers from rusting from the inside out--a stainless steel perforated plate to eliminate internal rust. Muffler cases are available in 16-gauge aluminized steel or stainless steel but it's truly what's inside that makes it so sophisticated. Need a muffler?
