The ICE 2224 Booster is a compact and lightweight voltage booster designed specifically for ICE 10 Amp DIS ignition systems.It takes an input of 13.5 - 16 volts and produces a steady output of 24 volts to coil positive.Ideally would be used with a 16 volt battery.Maximum rated output current is 15 amps continuous or 20 amps for 30 seconds.The 2224 booster can still be used even if an alternator is fitted, to boost voltage from the alternator's 13.8 - 14.8 volts to 24 volts.However, it is not necessary to use an alternator if a 16 volt battery is fitted.It features an extruded black anodised aluminium case with durable laser etching and stainless steel tamper proof screws.
