Item Description

Mr. Gasket rear main seal installation tools are special alignment tools that center the front or rear cover when it is installed, allowing an easier way to install the seal (by lightly tapping on the tool with a rubber mallet).

The timing cover and rear cover on GM LS series engines don't have dowel pins to ensure correct alignment to the center line of the crankshaft--often leading to annoying leaks at the front damper seal and rear main seal. Mr. Gasket durable plastic rear main seal installation tools are your resolve to a leak-free installation.
