Item Description

OEM Automotive Tools thread restorer kits contain everything you need to repair and restore old, damaged, or stripped threads on bolts and studs.

For internal repairs, use the rethreading taps and dies with standard wrenches--and an oil for chasing out damaged threads or removing nicks and burrs. For external repairs,the files will restore damaged threads of any diameter, right or left hand. The parts are conveniently color-coded: metric sizes in gold, National Fine sizes in black, and National Course sizes in bright silver.
