Item Description

Aeroflow Performance Titanium spring washers are machined from 6AL-4V grade 5 Titanium. These titanium washers are the favored material when using a titanium fastener due to the attractive property of being a low-density metal, which has a higher tensile strength than many other materials, even in higher temperatures. Given this strength, titanium is remarkably light. When compared to steel in a strength-to-weight ratio, titanium is far superior, as it is as strong as steel but 45% lighter. In fact, titanium has the highest strength-to-weight ratio of all known metals. The pairing of their high strength to weight ratio, excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking, high corrosion resistance and good fatigue strength make it the best choice to have in your race car.
