Item Description

The Drivetrain Reaction Timer (DRT) Version 2.0 now has a built in "G" meter that measures the time from when the transbrake is released until the time the vehicle accelerates to 0.8g's. The DRT also has an optional drive shaft sensor that can accurately measure the time from when the transbrake or clutch is released until the drive shaft moves. State of the art sensing technology allows the DRT to accurately measure the delay or change in drivetrain or chassis response with an accuracy of a few thousandths of a second.The "G" measurement can determine variances in reaction time do to chassis setup and tire slippage, the drive shaft measurement can determine variances in reaction time in the Clutch, Converter, Transmission, Trans Brake, or Delay Box.The system can also determine what variation in reaction time will occur when the launch rpm is changed and verify how a chassis adjustment affected the reactio n time. Easy to and install. Drive shaft sensing unit easily mounts to drive shaft hoop. 15-second delay in readout makes it legal in sanctioned events.
