These guideplates from COMP Cams are necessary in high-rpm motors. They keep your pushrods in line with your lifter cups and rocker arms and prevent deflecting or walking sideways. These guideplates are hardened to prevent them from wearing prematurely.
  • Full set of (8) flat, adjustable, 2-piece, guide plates
  • For 3/8" diameter pushrods & 7/16" rocker studs
  • Fits Chevy 262-400ci Small Block
  • Designed for use on cylinder heads w/ relocated intake ports
  • Engineered using stereo lithography techniques for an accurate fit
  • Able to be welded after final adjustment
  • Contoured & clearanced for head bolts
  • Hardened & black oxide finished
