Crane hydraulic roller camshafts are a good reason why virtually all pushrod-style engines manufactured for over two decades are equipped with hydraulic roller cams. Simply stated, the best way to get a wider torque band is to step up to a hydraulic roller cam in your small or big block Chevy, Ford or Mopar, AMC, Olds, or Pontiac. The roller cams' ability to quickly open and close the valves allows for more sophisticated camshaft profiles, while the hydraulic lifter body eliminates the need to constantly set valve lash. Crane Cams has the industry's largest database of camshaft profiles. This enables Crane to provide you with the camshaft that's ideally suited for your application. These Crane hydraulic roller camshafts also have an exceptional "flat" power curve and are a popular retrofit into older engines.
