These Crane rocker arm bridge shim kits will correct excessive hydraulic lifter preload on late model American Motors V-8s, and Oldsmobile V-8s with bridge-mounted rocker arm assemblies. Two different thickness shims are included to decrease lifter preload by approximately .030, .060, or .090 in., depending on the combination of shims being used between the bridge and the cylinder head. Excessive preload may be caused by a camshaft change, valve job, head resurfacing, etc. These shims can be a quick and easy alternative to resorting to different length pushrods. Specs:
Application: AMC, Oldsmobile & Holden V8 & 6 cyl engines

Rocker Shim Thickness: 0.030 in./0.060 in.
Quantity: Sold as a set of 32.
Notes: To attain .090 in. reduced preload, you must stack the shims.
