Item Description

CRANE CAMS HEADS ON PISTON TDC STOP 14MM WITH AIR BLEED HOLE CR99412-1These Crane piston stop tools are designed to stop the piston in order to find top dead center. They thread into the spark plug hole for accurate use. The experienced engine builder uses this tool for degreeing the camshaft and marking the flywheels for the most accurate cam and ignition timing. Machined from brass to prevent piston damage, and incorporating an air bleed hold to prevent compression build-up while turning the engine over.
