CVR PROLUBE BILLET ALLOY H/V OIL PUMP FOR CHEV BIG BLOCK INCLUDES DRIVE CVROPA45CVR Prolube billet aluminum oil pumps are designed to maintain adequate oil volume in the harshest racing environments. Manufactured from T6-6061 billet aluminum, these pumps feature aircraft-quality chromoly gear shafts to eliminate fatigue due to vibration, and a chromoly sleeve and wear plate. Precision-machined steel billet gears ensure a perfect mesh and can withstand the stresses of the extreme rpm range in race engines. Their lower gear supports eliminate any possible deflection. CVR Prolube billet aluminum oil pumps also feature a fully adjustable oil pressure bypass designed to return oil to the pickup area. This reduces aeration and oil temperature, while their enlarged inlet and oil passages increase the oil flow and efficiency. Prolube pumps also have a patent-pending modular bottom-feed pickup design that can be interchanged to fit a variety of oil pan depths, making these pumps a versatile choice.
