DEI hub and rotor covers are designed to protect professional mechanics and backyard do-it-yourselfers alike from the potential of serious burns. Working in and around hot brake drums and rotors while changing shocks, springs, or suspension components can cause problems unless you have some sort of protection. DEI hub and rotor covers are not just for shielding heat, but can also protect against any sharp edges and against dirt, dust and airborne particles around the track, shop, or garage.
