Item Description

This is a brand NEW , late model 1996-2001 Vortec 7.4L (454 ci) marine engine (one-piece rear main seal, oval port heads). Generation 6. This 7.4L (454 ci) Vortec is rated at 340-360hp at the crank (depending on intake, carb or EFI, exhaust manifolds, etc.). This 7.4L engine will work in all pre-1996 7.4L (454ci) applications with little or no modifications. You will also have the peace of mind of a 12 Month warranty.



This 7.4L marine engine comes equipped with the following:
  • 7.4L Gen 6 GM marine engine (standard rotation)
  • Corrosion resistant urethane paint
  • Vortec cylinder heads, engine block and all internal components
  • Oil Pan, Valve covers
  • Fel-Pro marine head gaskets
  • Harmonic balancer, timing cover
  • One-Year Warranty
