An ignition box is not required for use with these ready-to-run billet distributors except when used with an aftermarket EFI system.

• Notes:If using this distributor with an aftermarket electronic fuel injection such as FAST EZ-EFI, FiTech, MAX-efi, MSD Atomic, Sniper or similar, an ignition box such as our SUM-850610, must be used to supply a compatible trigger signal. Use coil with low primary resistance (0.700 Ohms or less). Distributor gear is compatible with hydraulic or mechanical flat tappet and austempered ductile iron hydraulic roller camshafts. The gear is surface hardened only and not compatible with factory steel hydraulic roller camshafts.
