Item Description

Flaming River has introduced steering columns for the popular 1940 Ford, plus other street rods desiring the period “retro� look. The column is based upon the classic stainless steel Flaming River roadster column. The upper end shaft uses a splined shaft, and is designed for use with aftermarket reproduction ‘40 Ford-style wheels. The laser-crafted column uses all-new components including wiring harness, featuring either a 1-1/2� or 1-3/4� stainless steel tube below the CNC-machined cast stainless steel bell to further enhance the retro feel of the wheel/column combination. The column uses a modern, self-canceling turn signal stalk and a hazard-warning switch. The columns are available with a hazard delete option. The columns are available in either polished or mill finish (paintable) versions, and use a 3/4�-36 splined output shaft.
