These GM Performance lifter guide retaining plates are designed to keep your hydraulic roller lifter guides in place, no matter what rpm the engine is running. They will work on 1987 and later small block Chevrolet engines using hydraulic roller camshafts in production-style engine blocks that were originally equipped with a hydraulic roller camshaft.
