Yes, the same 8620 material that some manufacturers are using in their "new high-strength designs" is what these lifters have been manufactured from since their original design. Other features include 9310 steel rollers and superior high-strength bearings. Howards Cams vertical bar mechanical roller lifters are carefully assembled by hand and checked for fit prior to packaging.
