JP PERFORMANCE DUAL IDLER GEAR DRIVE SET SUIT FORD 302-351W EFI V8 JP5708JP Performance Gear Drives are by far some of the most superior gear drives available today.
Manufactured from billet steel and CNC turned for greater accuracy these gear drives will suit street and racing applications. It is advisable when installing a new gear drive set to use a degree wheel to dial-in the camshaft. To do this use the JP Performance Degree Wheel (JP 5720) which includes instructions on the face. Features of the JP Performance Gear Drives include:
• 'A' Grade Drawn Cup Needle Roller Bearings rated to speed of 12000rpm and dynamic load rating of 8.6kN (1935 lbf).
• Case hardened gears to ensure longer life under harsh consitions.
• Thrust washers rated to 16000rpm and dynamic load capacity of 7.2kN (1620 lbf).
• Precision laser cut idler plates.
• Case hardened and ground idler shafts to improve bearing life.
• Shot peened gears to relieve stress.
• Shaved gears for more accurate gear mesh.
• CNC machined for greatest accuracy.
