The Voodoo Series is engineered from 4340 forged non-twist steel for durability and strength in high-heat applications. They are nitride heat-treated and have micro-polished bearing journals to add even more durability, hardness, and bearing life for the most demanding race conditions. Lunati crankshafts have lightening holes in the rod journals to reduce crankshaft inertia weight for faster rotation and improved engine acceleration. Plus, the counterweights are shaped and profiled to reduce operating windage and parasitic operating loss. Your crankshaft is the backbone of your engine.
