MELLING STD VOLUME OIL PUMP ME10687 SUIT FORD 289-302W V8 Melling's years of experience are apparent in these Performance oil pumps. They boast a CNC-machined body and cover and hardened steel gears that are up to 25 percent longer, providing additional flow to performance engines with wider bearing clearances. Their drive and idler shafts have been extended into the cover to provide additional support and eliminate dynamic shaft deflection.
  • Stock volume performance upgrade for MEM-68.
  • Gerotor set assembled to an extended drive shaft that allows for additional support in the cover. Supporting the drive shaft in both the housing and cover eliminates dynamic shaft deflection at increased RPM levels.
  • The cover is dowelled to the pump housing to assure alignment of shaft bores.
  • The housing and cover are CNC machined and phosphate coated for wear and rust prevention.
  • The relief valve has a pressure adjustable screw-in plug instead of a cup plug.
  • Works with the original bolt-on pickup screen assemblies.
  • Uses 5/8" bolt on screen.
