Item Description
All Reid Racing 1-piece SUPERGLIDE cases come with the inner safety liner. With this safety liner, these cases meet SFI 4.1 rating without bulky heavy external shields or blankets. Reid Racing cases do not require pan straps or special SFI rated transmission pans. You may use any pan you wish without the inconvenience of awkward straps. The safety liner can be removed with the transmission still assembled.

- Double rear wall thickness prevents cracking in reverse piston area
- Tailshat bolt bosses are tied to back wall, stiffening case and preventing case breakage
- Reverse piston bleed hole vents trapped air into redesigned oil passages, increasing transbrake consistency
- Beefier boss for transbrake solenoid
- Adel clamp boss simplifies attachment of dipstick tube
- 1/8" NPT threaded vent boss (labeled "vent")
- Enlarged 1/4" NPT bosses for oil cooler lines (labled "in" and "out") correct a common source of OEM case splitting
- Totally redesigned oil passages radically improve transbrake release time and sets brake instantly when staging
- Patented, adjustable transbrake release utilizes an indexed bolt to set how quickly and firmly the tyres are hit. Soften the launch for slick surfaces; crank it wide open for sticky tracks
- Counterbored bellhousing fits over existing stamped steel, midplate style shields; no chassis reworking required
- SFI 30.1 certified bellhousing requires no flywheel shield
- Pressure tap for reverse piston
- Thicker oil pan rails correct the flexing and leaking of stock cases. Massive front-rail area prevents oil pump distortion
- Low gear servo piston bore hasan extremely smooth surface which minimizes leakage and wear for crisper, more consistent shifts
- Larger oil pump thread bosses prevent cracking. Helicoiled threads prevent stripping
- Enlarged dowel pin bosses prevent breaking
- Wall thickness increased by at least 30 percent in all critical areas
- Enlarged lower opening increases wrench and hand clearnace for converter changes
