Differential Housing, Ford 9” Heavy Duty, Steel, Smooth Back, Accepts 3.00 in. Axle Tubes.


These RTS heavy-duty housings allow you to add all of the necessary components for a high-strength rear-end. The original Ford housings required a 3 1/4 in. diameter tube, which is not compatible with many of the commercially available brackets commonly welded to the axle tubes. RTS housings are made of a slightly thicker gauge of steel than a stock 9-inch housing, providing more strength, stiffness and a better base for welding brackets without housing distortion.
