System 1 fuel filters have a lightweight, anodized aluminum housing and a reusable, stainless steel screen element that is unaffected by gasoline, alcohol, water, or most fuel additives. System 1 inline filters have a removable end for easy filter servicing and quality O-ring seals to prevent leaks. Spin-on filters feature a removable cap for inspection without removing the filter housing, and a petcock drain so that sediment and moisture can be quickly drained.
