TheSuper StreetFighter™ Transmissions bridge the gap between the StreetFighter® series and full competition transmissions. This version (Ford Small Block C4 Part# 511205) is intended for normally aspirated vehicles powered by engines producingup to825 horsepower. Featuring some of the same benefits as our StreetFighter® Transmissions but with certain upgrades, the Super StreetFighter™ offers both manual and automatic shift options to give you the power and shifts you want for the strip or easy driving for the street.Like the StreetFighter units, they are equipped with 100 percent tested, manual/automatic valve bodies. That means that most units allow you to manually shift the vehicle into each gear change or, by placing it in the drive position, remain fully automatic. In either mode, you get a racetrack shift that bangs through the gears and shaves time off your ETs. When you use the manual gear selection feature, the Super StreetFighters upshift and downshift right when you move the lever, with no lag or governor override. When you select the normal drive position, the transmissions retain positive automatic shifts, for the ease of driving you look for in an automatic transmission.They also feature:• Red Eagle clutches, Kolene-treated steel plates & extra-wide powerbands where available
• Larger diameter servos, enhanced hard parts & improved lubrication system
• New sprags/roller clutches (upgraded in particular models)
• Includes a chrome-plated transmission pan with embossed TCI® logo
